I'm a sucker for a double-feature, so this selection from the early 90's was a no-brainer. The first movie is the longest and most involved but the second gets points for packing their 20 minutes chock full o' man-on-hot-chick spanking. So hard to pick a favorite!

"The Invitation," begins in an adult bookstore. A slim, young brunette flips furtively through some magazines as the buxom blonde shop owner keeps a curious eye on her. "May I help you?" she finally asks in a delightful British accent (fyi: turns out, everyone in this pic is British). The brunette explains that she's especially interested in woman-on-woman spanking material. The blonde sidles up to her, and together they leaf thru a magazine.

The blonde asks if she's ever been spanked by a woman. The brunette confesses that it's always been her fantasy. What a coincidence! The blonde is into spanking, too. The ladies agree to meet for a coffee after work to watch some films "or maybe whatever after that." The continue flipping thru the magazine, pointing out noteworthy asses and particularly well-spanked cheeks.

The blonde rings up her purchase, then they shoo a male customer out the door, and close shop. All this build-up adds realism and dramatic tension, but I found myself getting impatient: come on! Let's bring on the spankings! Fortunately, immediately after they look the door behind him, the blonde asks her new acquaintance if she'd give her a look at her bottom.

They exchange names (blonde = Stephanie, brunette = Joanna) and then Stephanie brings Joanna a stool to kneel on, leaning over the counter, her butt lifted high behind her. Stephanie notes how nice it is, a little skinny but round & firm, as well. She strokes & smacks solidly thru Joanna's acid-wash jeans. Stephanie observes she's handling things nicely, and lets her dominant side show when she adjusts her position sharply.

Afterward a few minutes, Stephanie tells her to get down, and the two banter lightly for awhile -- building more tension, I suppose, but unfortunately the sound isn't great, and I'm not all that interested in how much the magazines are. I get the important part, though: they're gonna go back to Stephanie's place and experiment. Stephanie fetches a thin bamboo cane before slipping out the door...

When the next scene faded in, my heart fell a little. Oh dear. The lighting is way too bright to see the fine grades of pinks, reds and roses that are so key in my enjoyment of spanking movies. Such a shame, cause this is a sweet scenario, and even without the best color, a delicious uber-polite drama unfolds:

STEPHANIE: Would you like to take your jeans off?
JOANNA: Shall I?
STEPHANIE: If you'd like...

Oh, she'd like. She stands and removes her jacket, belt, jeans, boots... Joanna is all flawless creamy white skin, in a black bra & panties.

JOANNA: So what are you going to do to me?

Stephanie explains that first of all, she's going to examine her bottom while thinking about what she plans to do to her bottom. She has a favorite whip she'd like to exercise, and Joanna says she's game. Stephanie instructs her to bend at the waist, head on the couch, ass in the air. Stephanie inspects her butt, once more, and administers some warm-up spanks. She notes the cheeks have taken some color already but unfortunately, this isn't apparent to the viewer.

Stephanie now positions her across her lap for a good sound spanking. "Didn't know what you were getting yourself in for today, did you?" she quips before delivering firm smacks upon each butt cheek. She smoothes the skin between blows, too, delicately tracing her fingers in a cooling motion while commenting on the warmth brewing.

"Nice 'n pink!" she says, and this time the camera angle is a little better... I can kinda see the rosiness but then the angle switches, and instead it's Joanna's face in the frame, looking quite distressed but also delighted. She wriggles around on Stephanie's lap, and is immediately reprimanded. This spanking is all business!

Soon, Joanna's panties are off, and she's bent over the couch again, this time enduring a wide leather strap. Stephanie's firm but not cruel -- her strong stroke is mitigated by a modest wind-up. I love her demeanor, too: calm, cool and in-control. She reminds me of a cat, the way she rubs her whole body along Joanna's exposed flesh...

Ever the good mentor, she takes a break to check in with her charge: sit down, how are you doing, is this all you fantasized it'd be? Good! Time for the cane!

Turns out, Joanna will be the first to feel her "virgin whip" across her ass. The first stroke is gentle ("Say thank you..."). The second and third strokes are much harder, and continue for a good while. In a sweet, lilting voice, Stephanie announces another ten strokes. She counts off five and then says, "OK, bitch, you're gonna take five more... " Quickly, she fires off one, two, three, four, five strokes while Joanna wriggles around in hot-butt agony. Well done, Stephanie tells her, but warns that's just starters. Next time, she'll get her bull whip out.

Joanna suggests they trade places; Stephanie bends over & offers her ass up for a few warm-up spankings. With both their bottoms nice 'n toasty, the girls decide to continue their fun upstairs in the bedroom.

The second movie, Surrogate Maid, is not quite as story- or character-driven as The Invitation. What we have is your basic Naughty-Wife-Punished-By-Husband situation. Our girl, another pretty brunette, makes a mess of her kitchen while she tries to prepare breakfast. Her husband accuses her of drinking too much at a party, and flirting with other men She's a disaster, he says, and he's going to teach her a lesson!

He pulls up her skirt to reveal a s-p-l-e-n-d-i-d ass, beautifully framed in red lace panties & black garters/stockings. Sweet black heels, too. Interesting camera angles throughout this movie: you rarely see their faces, the action is focused on her drumming hand and her round, fleshy (but not too fleshy!) bottom.

I love how authoritarian he looks in his suit, and his strict, scolding rap makes my knees a little weak. He quizzes her on how much she had to drink, chides her for screwing up. He punctuates his points with firm, steady slaps upon her cheeks. She's calm, almost deadpan during her punishment -- towards the end, though, things speed up a bit and she exclaims, "Ow!" a few times; otherwise, she's a trooper.

He sends her upstairs to change into a French maid's outfit -- she looks adorable, scrubbing the floor in her frilly black & white costume, and even cuter, posing for her hubby her hands over her head. He bends her over ("Touch your toes...") and then smacks her ass with a wooden spoon, nice!

I love how he expertly flicks/swipes it across her cheeks, and how the camera picks up her jiggling flesh. Damn, I wish this movie were better lit, too, cause I'd love to see some color!

Finally, a new angle provides some pinkness, and then he positions her over his lap for a traditional spanking, over the knee, with his bare hand and also with the spoon. He has her count out the final ten, then notes how he could fry an egg on her red-hot bottom. Unfortunately, because of the poor lighting, we have to take his word for it.
