Groundbreaking at the time, Menage a Trois was released in theaters as an adult 3-D movie with the tag line "You'll never look at sex the same way again." Screw magazine said it was "A sex dream come true" and Genesis magazine added it's "More fun than French postcards!"

A frothy French sizzler that allows the audience no time to ponder the artistic and technical qualities of the picture, the dialog is spoken in French but with comedic commentary in English from two offscreen voices that bring the comedy out in the simplistic script. High marks to all those involved as this type of comedic effect is not easily pulled off.

Original Liner Notes:
The plot is appropriately miniscule. Every year, the school's elderly gardener plays the Santa Claus for the girls, but this year he falls ill. The gardener recruits two substitutes, both of whom are young and vigorous. The results are obvious - the two Santas dispense their engorged gifts to the grateful girls.

Seldom have there been such beautiful female bodies displayed and splayed in a foreign film. These girls are absolutely fascinating! High marks go to all those involved in Menage a Trois, a picture that proves that less meaning is sometimes more.
